Taoist sexuality
A study of how our energy and our sensitivity work. A meditative possibility in contact.
In the school, Taoist sexuality is neither a collection of techniques nor a selling point. It is a study: how our energy works, how our sensitivity works, and what opens when contact becomes meditative.
The bedroom arts are part of Taoist study, but they are only ten per cent of Taoist sexuality. The rest is a wider understanding: every sensation and every perception is, in the end, sexual energy as part of life. It is not a matter of denying it, nor repressing it, nor stimulating it senselessly or with violence.
Taoist sexuality is the instrument in which the evolution of consciousness becomes visible.
If there is no violence in arousal and consciousness opens, then spirituality becomes part of the viscera: it lives in the body, not only in ideas. If instead spirituality dwells only in the mind and, as soon as arousal appears, it leaps into violence or compulsion, then that spirituality never reached the inner processes — it left them aside.
That is why the work is patient and without spectacle: observing one's own energy, recognising when contact becomes presence and when it becomes haste, and letting sensitivity educate itself.
Care
Consent, framing and limits
Consent is not an initial formality but a living process that can be revisited at any moment.
Respect includes recognising limits, differences in desire, personal rhythms and the right to stop an experience without having to justify it. Care also requires clear framings, confidentiality and the absence of pressure arising from teaching authority.
The potentially reparative dimension of this work does not mean it heals psychological wounds, relationship conflicts or illness on its own. Where there is trauma, pain, violence, compulsion or persistent suffering, the practice must be articulated with the corresponding medical, psychological or sexological care.
